Meditation

Hebrews: “How can we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?” (v. 3) That is the point. The overwhelming number of people being lost are being lost because they have neglected such a great salvation. Paul tells us in the first chapter of Romans that “they are without excuse…” (Romans 1:19-23) In verse 9 we witness our own elevation from “a little lower than the angels” (v. 7) now, with Jesus “Now crowned with glory and honor.” (v. 9) Notice, the passage ends with “perfect through sufferings.” Good enough for Him, good enough for us!
