Galatians: I have often wondered of how much interest Jewish history was to the newly converted Galatians. How could they appreciate or identify with Abraham, Hagar and Mount Sinai? I don’t think they can any more than we. Albeit, we are children of the free woman, as it were, “born from above. (John3:16) The slavery here noted is sin and there is but one way out: “No one comes to the Father but by Me.” (John 14:6)
