Meditation

Isaiah: The LORD looks for two spiritual qualities in people whom He wishes to bless: humility and contrition. He loves that! Notice: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with those who are contrite and humble in spirit.” (v. 15b) Two rather holy women stand out: Hannah, mother of Samuel and Mary, mother of Jesus. Each upon either the birth (Samuel) or the annunciation of a birth (Jesus) sing songs which are remarkably similar. Humble & Contrite.
