Meditation

Mark: Apparently, Jesus’ popularity fostered great crowds to gather and so crush upon Him. Well, He was healing and teaching which also served to augment the crowds following Him. It becomes evident that those following Him believed they could be cured just by touching Him or His cloak. This proved to be true. The demons cannot refrain from identifying Him as the Son of God, but that will avail them nothing. It must have been marvelous to behold. One more note: Jesus called the 12 His Apostles or missionaries, to be sent out to proclaim the message (v 14) – which is what missionaries do.
