Meditation

Isaiah: This passage is one of the finest and most eloquent in all of Scripture, describing for us God’s omnipotence and greatness. I’ve mentioned before that as often as we think we have any control of events over our lives, it soon becomes evident to be but an illusion. If anything, this reading may help us to remember just how small we are as compared with God. Not to be flippant, but in this instance, the words of Carley Simon ring true: “Nobody does it better.”
