Psalm: 145

Meditation

2 Corinthians: In this passage, Paul begins with an age-old adage (even for him) from Scripture itself: don’t judge by appearances. We still do just that and I doubt we will ever stop. This adage only tells us that things are not always as they seem. We don’t even “see” Christ as He really is. Paul reminds us we are a new creation in Christ. “Ambassadors for Christ” is sometimes misinterpreted to mean “Apostle”. There were only 12 of those (13 is you count Paul). The point of this passage is that we are entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation.
