Psalms: 58, 67
Meditation
Luke: Just how important is the Passover and what significance does it have for us Christians today? The symbolism of the first Passover was, for the Jews, the beginning of their liberation from slavery. But, what for us? The powerful reality of the blood at Passover, shows that “without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.” (Hebrews 9:22 KJV) The significance of the Passover serves to remind us of the blood shed on Calvary and our liberation from the slavery brought upon us by our sins. “Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us, therefore let us keep the feast.” (1 Cor. 5:7 KJV)
