Psalm: 118

Meditation

1 Corinthians: If ever you have the opportunity to discern your gifts, (there are objective ways to do this; affirmation from others is helpful) you must take it. Paul lists quite a few here but he knows one need not have all. These gifts are both a responsibility (i.e., use them) and a great honor As good as they may be, what Paul talks about in chapter 13 has nothing to do with the schmaltzy nonsense often displayed in greeting cards. After an unparalleled description of love, we learn that that one gift is the best. Every believer has that one!

Gospel:

New Testament:

1 Cor. 12:27-13:13
