Psalm: 9

Meditation

Micah: This guy (Micah) sounds dejected and mournful but what can one expect when the message begins “woe”? Look carefully at these 7 verses for they give us an apt description of not only Micah’s world but also of the world of Jesus as well as of our own. Jesus, during a not-so-“nice” moment in announcing He came not to bring peace, but rather a sword, uses, if not cites Micah, in Luke 12:51-55 (KJV), saying “The father shall be divided against the son…” Notice any great change since then?

Gospel:

Luke 8:26-39

New Testament:

Acts 26:1-23

Old Testament:

Micah 7:1-7
