Psalms: 113, 121

Meditation

Acts: Paul is now back in Jerusalem – the place where Agabus had prophesied that Paul be taken captive by the Jews and that they would hand him over to the Gentiles (the Romans, in this case). Paul could read a crowd. He was being examined by both Pharisees and Sadducees. Whenever faced with such an opportunity, Paul would invariably lob his favorite weapon of choice; a grenade we know of as the resurrection from the dead. That little gem will always lead to chaos.

Gospel:

Luke 6:39-49

New Testament:

Acts 22:30—23:11

Old Testament:

Hosea 14:1-9
