Psalms: 141, 142
Meditation
Acts: Paul and Barnabas are smack-dab in the middle of Asia Minor. That is important because of the overwhelming Hellenistic influence on the people. Paul and Barnabas are proclaiming the gospel to the Jews and God-fearing Gentiles (Greeks). Many converted since these people could grasp all that the prophets had announced in their writings. Fear-filled Jews warned against this Truth because, as Paul would later say in 2 Corinthians in chapter 3, “their minds were veiled.”
