Acts: Paul and Barnabas are in a place called Antioch of Pisidia (a region in central Asia Minor – not to be confused with Antioch in Syria where the term Christian was first coined). Paul and Barnabas, whenever they went to a new city, first went to the local synagogue. That makes sense since the Jews should have a good grasp of just what Paul and Barnabas would say. They cite the OT to buttress their claims that Jesus is the Christ.
