Psalms: 99, 101

Meditation

Acts: Very recently in our narrative, Paul had had his conversion experience on the Damascus Road. Is it any wonder why Jewish Christians were skeptical? Saul, as he was known then, had built up a marvelous reputation probably because of his fervor and mouth. Like me, Paul was prone to speak out of turn. His target was the Jew who believed in Christ – not the Gentile believer. Later, in Jerusalem, the leadership of the Church were also skeptical of Paul until Barnabas vouched for him – this is the same Barnabas mentioned in Chapter 4:36-37

Gospel:

John 6:52-59

New Testament:

Acts 9:19-31

Old Testament:

Job 4:1; 5:1-11, 17-21, 26-27
