Psalms: 124, 126
Meditation
Job: It seems that Job has a good sense of who he is as compared with God. Job considers just how great God is so who can go up against Him? Job does not even want to try because the prospect is laughable on its face. God is much greater than, say Goliath and Job is much smaller than, in this instance, the boy David. Why try? Job is eloquent in his praise though, perhaps a bit “left-handed” meaning, while extolling God’s greatness, there is not a hint of flattery.
