1 Timothy: Paul warns Timothy about false teachers and in the next breath cautions him not to crave money for “those who want to be rich fall into temptations and are tripped up by many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” (vv. 9-10) which will lead them astray. So, money = good, love of money = bad!
