Psalms: 61, 62

Matthew: Jesus was certainly busy during His last week. First the Sadducees (priests/Levites) who don’t believe in the resurrection – after all there is no mention of resurrection in the Torah (Pentateuch – Genesis – Deuteronomy). Since this was only a test, I question their sincerity. Jesus exposes them (and their own ignorance of the Scriptures) simply quoting from Exodus: “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. He is a God not of the dead but of the living.” (Exodus 3:6)
