Romans: Paul here delves into that salty issue of sin vs. grace. While we are no longer under Law does not give us license to sin. At tis point we are just beginning our walk with Christ and also our sanctification. “Should we sin because we are not under Law but under grace?” (v. 15) Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount” addresses this issue twice in chapter 6 verses 19-21 and verse 24. The point is: “For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.” (Matt. 6:21) Remember, we are no longer slaves of sin but now we are slaves of righteousness.
