Meditation: Genesis – Joseph’s brothers thought that they would be attacked and sold into slavery when they were brought to Joseph’s house. The steward tells them that he received their payment for the last trip and that the God of their father must have given them the silver. How confused do you think the brothers were? They went from thinking they would be slaves to eating lunch with the highest Egyptian official.
