Meditation: 1 Corinthians – Paul’s letters have been used to provide a basis for women physically belonging to their husbands. However, people who use Paul’s words for this purpose sometimes forget that the wife has as much authority over her husband’s body as the husband has over the wife’s body. Both participants in the marriage give their body to the other, and neither should use this authority to hurt the other.
