Meditation: Genesis – If there has ever been a tale of love at first sight it was that of Jacob and Rachael, at least from Jacob’s side. She was the shepherd of her father’s flock, bringing them in for water when they first meet. She had probably been in the field for a while, a little dirty and tired depending how far the field was from the well. Still, Jacob stops, rolls a stone from the well, and kisses her. How romantic.
