Psalm 119:97-120

Meditation: Genesis – Why did Rebekah instruct Jacob to deceive Isaac in order to obtain Esau’s blessing? The passage mentions that Rebekah and Isaac didn’t like Esau’s wives but that can’t be the only reason why Rebekah did this. Given Isaac’s reaction when he realizes the deceit, we can guess that he was not in on the plan to steal the blessing. Jacob already had Esau’s birthright, why take the blessing too?
