Meditation: Genesis – Morality was a major issue when it came to the early Israelites, though they weren’t called that yet. Nakedness was not merely seeing someone’s body without clothes on, as it is often viewed today, but rather it was indicative of extreme sexual intimacy with another person. This difference in understanding makes it difficult for people to understand the reason for Ham’s curse.
