Meditation: Genesis – The calling of Abram is a fairly well-known passage. It must have been confusing to hear that aging and childless Abram would be the father of a great nation. Sarai was known to be unable to conceive and both were quite old by this point. Of course, God can do all things, but that doesn’t always make it easier to believe when the plan sounds impossible to human ears.
