Psalm: 88

Meditation: Matthew – There are many similarities between Jesus and Moses that have been noted over the years. Both Jesus and Moses faced death from the moment they took their first breaths by order of the Pharaoh in Exodus and King Herod in the Gospels. Pharaoh’s decree was to decrease the Israelite population. Herod’s decree was in response to the knowledge that a new king had been born. What were these two rulers so afraid of to order the deaths of all of those children?
