Psalm: 148

Meditation: Revelation – A rider on a white horse. White horses have been used in many forms of literature and storytelling for generations as a symbol of hope and justice. Here we see a description of the most important white rider of all, called ‘Faithful and True,’ ‘King of Kings,’ ‘Lord of Lords,’ and ‘Word of God.’ His robes are dipped in blood and a sharp sword comes from his mouth. The physical descriptions of the rider are terrifying but the hope that comes with him is worth the fearsome exterior. What do you think is the most important part of this description?

Gospel: Matthew 1:18-25

New Testament: Revelation 19:11-16

Old Testament: Isaiah 62:1-5, 10-12
