Psalms: 72

Meditation

Titus: Titus was a young pastor in Paul’s charge. Paul entrusted him in many assignments not the least was to collect for the destitute in Jerusalem He was later appointed elder (bishop) on the Isle of Crete. This epistle contains in it some instructions for whomever would seek to be an elder. I have no idea just how old Titus is but I always picture him as being in his late 20s or early 30s but that cannot be true can it? V. 13 “While we wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ….” So, we are now eager for Jesus’ second coming.

Gospel: Luke 1:39-56

New Testament: Titus 2:11 – 3:8

Old Testament: 2 Samuel 7:1-17
