1 Samuel: The birth of Samuel was also a miracle thought not like that of Samson nor of John the Baptist. His mother, Hannah, prayed fervently for a child and did promise that should the LORD grant her a son, she would dedicate him to the LORD to live out his days in the service of the Tent of Meeting. As he was Hannah’s first-born son, this was appropriate (in theory) and to seal the deal Samuel was dedicated as a Nazarite for life.
