2 Peter: What are “these things” Peter speaks of in verse 12? Well, we have to cheat just a little. Go back to verses 5-7 to see what Peter is getting at. Throughout Peter exhorts his readers to remember: to keep in mind all that they had been taught. He is also speaking about his own death in a quite matter-of-fact manner. He remembers the day Jesus was transfigured before him.
