Psalms: 72

Meditation

Revelation: Rife with symbolism, this passage describes in prophetic terms the birth of Jesus and His near slaughter at the hands of King Herod the Great. Consider Isaiah 14:12-20, we see Satan hurled from heaven along with a third of the angels with him. A battle ensues which culminated in Christ’s victory on the cross. The thing to remember here is “for the accuser of our brothers who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.” (v. 10b)

Gospel: Matthew 13:53-58

New Testament: Revelation 12:1-12

Old Testament: Nehemiah 13:4-22
