Meditation
Acts: Eutychus is one of my favorite (minor) characters of the Bible. He is only mentioned in this passage. This young man managed to fall asleep during Paul’s lengthy sermon (he (Paul, droned on all night) and Eutychus fell to his death from a 3rd story window. Paul saves the day and revives the young man and quickly resumes his sermon. This scene hearkens to two OT prophets who, themselves, each raised a young man from death. (1 Kings 17:17-24; 2 Kings 4:18-37)
