Psalms: 109

Meditation

Matthew: This is a sad truth and one we don’t like to entertain: “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” (v. 14) Jesus goes on to say, “By their fruits you will recognize them.” (v. 16) We don’t live good lives to gain favor with God, but rather because we’re grateful to Him for all He does for us. This is the fruit we end up manifesting to the world. Be only concerned that your fruit is good for those around you.

Gospel: Matthew 7:13-21

New Testament: 1 Corinthians 8:1-13

Old Testament: 2 Kings 18:9-25
