Psalm: 10

Meditation

Acts: Paul’s audience here are the “great and powerful” in the region: one Porcius Fetus and King Herod Agrippa – grandson of the infamous baby-killer, Herod, the great. Paul apparently defends himself adequately for Festus remarks that he would have released Paul had not he appealed to Rome. The remainder discusses Paul’s embarking for Rome.

Gospel: Mark 13:28-37

New Testament: Acts 26:24 – 27:8

Old Testament: 1 Kings 1:38 – 2:4
