2 Samuel: Absalom, now heir-apparent, though he was the 3^rd born son to David. You may remember that Absalom executed his older brother Amnon for raping Tamar, Absalom’s sister. The second son born to David was Kileab who is believed to have died in his youth. The truth is we just don’t know. So, Absalom began to sway the public toward him and away from David.
