Psalms: 60

Meditation

Acts: From the earliest times in Jewish history we see that God had called the Jews to be His special people: “For you are a people holy (separate) to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be His people, His treasured possession.” (Deut. 7:6) Paul telling these Jews in the Temple that God is sending him to the Gentiles, can only be blasphemy, worthy of death. Paul manages to get himself apprehended and he was about to be flogged, then he plays his trump card: “Is it legal for you to flog a Roman citizen who hasn’t been found guilty?” (Acts 22:25)

Gospel: Mark 11:1-11

New Testament: Acts 22:17-29

Old Testament: 2 Samuel 16:1-23
