2 Corinthians: As if to bring forward our last look at 2 Corinthians, Paul rejoices in his weaknesses because then God can work more powerfully through him This is what Chapter 10 talks about in not using the world’s weapons. This scene is played out in a much larger scale in the story of Gideon (Judges 6 & 7). Gideon started out with 32,000 and that number got reduced to but 300 against an overwhelming force. God wants to fight our battles and so weakens us until we are equal to the task or He is.
