Hebrews: I hope all of you have grappled with this question: how could Jesus be both priest and King? Only the sons of Aaron (of the sons of Levi) were assigned as priests and the King could only come from David (of the family of Judah). These verses discuss and defend Jesus’ title as priest, prophet, and King. The story unfolds way back in the time of Abraham. Check out Genesis chapter 14 which introduces this Melchizedek to us.
