Daniel: Daniel is a somewhat unique prophet or visionary who, like his predecessor Joseph, found favor wherever he went. He was gifted, (some say plagued) with numerous visions most of which he could interpret. This seer’s life was far from easy. Some of Daniel’s visions baffle scholars to this very day and there is great diversity of opinion about them. This was just another vision, but the difference is that this one even frightened Daniel himself.
