Daniel: This is a glimpse from Daniel, or rather a glimpse to Daniel of what we might call Jesus’ investiture as King of the Universe. This scene describes something like Revelation chapter 20 of what we know as the “white throne judgment”. While John (in Revelation) may have been familiar with Daniel, he (John) was in no wise known to Daniel. Read both accounts and consider their similarities.
