Ezekiel: “Like the appearance of a rainbow…(v. 28) The rainbow is an important detail because it serves to remind God of His covenant with Noah and man (Gen. 9:8-17). Revelation chapter 10 speaks of a powerful angel with a rainbow above his head. From first to last the rainbow plays an important part. This chapter is the call of Ezekiel who is then told to eat a scroll (like John, also in Revelation). Both Ezekiel and John speak of end times.
