Meditation

John: Much of Jesus’ life mirrors the life of Moses such as at the time Moses prays for God to send the Israelites’ food. That food, from heaven, took the form of “manna” (translated: “what is this stuff?”) Here Jesus is telling these descendants of Moses that He is the bread that came down from heaven. This is the bread which heal all hunger for those who seek to do the Father’s will: believe on the one He sent.
