Jeremiah: – “Among my people are wicked men.” (v. 28) Lent is a good time to take a break from the hub-bub and bustle of the world; to step back and to evaluate your walk with God. Complacency is easy: “I’m all set.” We have to fight against this kind of complacency because, truth be told, we are in as much need now of forgiveness as we were on the day of our conversion.
