Meditation

This is that well-known passage in Jesus’ life while he was meandering through the desert (read: wilderness) being tempted of the devil. One particular temptation was for Jesus to cheat by turning stones into bread. Jesus quoted this passage: “…that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.” (v. 8:3)
