Psalms: 111, 112

Meditation

Isaiah: It seems to be difficult to put into words things unutterable. But this is what Isaiah is commissioned to do in speaking of a time and place far removed from him. He is not looking back, that would be “history”. Instead he is looking at the eternal “now” of God where “everywhere is here and time is “now”. We are incapable of grasping our eternal “now”, but not God. That may be why he chooses to remember our sins no more. (Jeremiah 31:34)

Gospel: Mark 10:17-31

New Testament: 2 Timothy 2:14-26

Old Testament: Isaiah 60:1-17
