Meditation

Isaiah: I am undecided as to whether God is a micro-manager or laissez-faire. The LORD is promising to take special care of Jerusalem. This is before the invasion of Nebuchadnezzar so there is still time for Judah to get its act together. Still, it is tender how the LORD wants to take care of His people. The watchmen alluded to in verse 6 refer to the prophets. Their job is to keep the people aware of their constant rebellion against the LORD.
