Isaiah: This passage captures what is great about the book of Isaiah. Here we can see far into the future for, I believe, it talks of the millennial kingdom. Today we celebrate Jesus’ manifestation to the world (i.e., the Gentiles); The Magi were the first Gentiles to seek and find “the One Who has been born King of the Jews”. (Matt. 2:2) Then it was onto Egypt where the Holy Family must have met other Gentiles. By far the greatest epiphany was His baptism which was second only to His transfiguration.
