Psalm: 19

Meditation

Revelation: “…someone ‘like a son of man.’ ” (v. 13) The weight of significance of that phrase is rooted in Daniel in chapter 7. This title “son of man” was the one most frequently used by Jesus to describe Himself. All of Jesus’ followers would have been aware of the genesis of the term and its implied significance. I hold that whom John saw while on Patmos was very akin to ow Jesus represented Himself during His transfiguration. (there is no biblical basis for my musings).

Gospel: John 7:53 – 8:11

New Testament: Revelation 1:9-20

Old Testament: Isaiah 25:1-9
