Psalm: 59

Meditation

2 Thessalonians: Earlier this week we saw in 1 Thessalonians “The Day of the Lord” and, in essence, not to be overly concerned about it. Here, Paul gives details – but as I read it, it is still not something for the believer to concern himself with. It becomes obvious, or it will be obvious, that when that “day” happens – the arrival of the “man of lawlessness” (v. 3) – there will be universal agreement that that is who it is. Put your worry on hold!

Gospel: Luke 22:1-13

New Testament: 2 Thess. 2:1-12

Old Testament: Isaiah 7:1-9
