Psalm: 135
Meditation
Ephesians: This passage is rife with words which are difficult for me to explain. The first and foremost is “predestination” (v. 5) That one word comes loaded with prejudicial images chief among those is the absence of free will. As I say, prejudicial. The simple meaning is chosen, or elected beforehand. Time and space and personal lack of understanding don’t allow for me to elaborate further. The other puzzling phrase I have never understood: “to the praise of His glorious grace,” (v. 6) and “to the praise of His glory.” (v. 4) That is why they make commentaries.
