Habakkuk: This is one of those OT prayers which beautifully descries God’s greatness and our “littleness”. Notice verse 2, the beginning: “LORD I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known in wrath remember mercy.” Habakkuk asks the LORD to show His great power – much as Jesus would do some 600 years later.
