James: A lot of stuff here. What we know we have is today! There is no promise of tomorrow – only God knows that. Carpe diem is usually a bad philosophical approach unless applied to the advancement of the Kingdom. “Make hay while the sun shines as it were. As for wealth, what can I say that won’t fall on deaf ears; thank God for your poverty, as I urged a good friend once. There are three classes of people very dear to God: orphans, widows, and the poor.
